• At last... OUR CD IS OUT!!!!!!!!! We held a brief CD-release concert in Founders Courtyard the last day of finals. If you want a piece of this action, contact John Bower, at jbower@haverford.edu (see above).

• We had our Spring Semester show on April 15th. God, that was awkward! No, actually it was a lot of fun. Hot damn.

Well, well...some things to discuss mah friends:

• Recap of Fall Tour: We went to Mark's house in Conn; sang a concert with the Wellesley Widows (Mark and Charles got all up on JB, which was cute); met up with Rob Caughey and Justin Slawson in Harvard square prior to spending the night at Elliot's house in Bedford; then traveled down to New York to see Rich Carthas, Steve Spaulding, and the ever-entertaining Charles Curtis; sang in Times Square, which was thrilling...thrilling that is until the police came, saw the money in Dave's hat, and demanded to see our tax stamps (apparently they held off for a few songs, which we really appreciate). No, but really...there's nothing like singing in Times Square...and really also watching Mark put on a show for the ladies in Times Square...Actually I'm really grateful to Mark for driving/parking my car in and around the city. Before parting ways the next morning, we managed to sing in front of the Met without attracting police attention, thus ending our tour with a satisfied moan (in the proverbial sense). Oh Ms. Clarkson...

• ALUMNI CONCERT: We had an amazing time singing/hanging-out/concerting with 20 years of s-chord alums this past Saturday. Thank you for coming, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

We had quite a busy end-of-last-semester:

• November 18: we successfully mounted (thanks, Mark and Elliot) our fall semester show with guests the Extreme Keys of Bryn Mawr. Special thanks to Ben Hamm for working on the concert video, a faux-academy-awards for what we thought would be the actual video--about a homicidal, cursed pitch-pipe. rEaL sOlId.

• December 2: we made it (barely) to the Wellesley Widows' fall show and, well...it was hot.

• December 5: field trip to the Brandywine Conservancy Museum, sang at a dinner for their donors.

• December 15: sang for a private dinner in philly, and made a little additional money.

With a new semester comes new chaos...

• First of all, a belated CONGRATULATIONS to the new s-chords: Dennis Norris '08, Tommy Bryan '08, Justin Meyerowitz '09, and Rob Harbison '09!!!!!

• We are in the process of planning for our 20th (Maybe 21st) Anniversary Alumni Concert, which will be sometime this April! We are really excited about this.

• Our New CD is coming out this spring (to coincide with our concert). We have yet to settle on a name, but it is going to be sweet regardless...
