¯ Introductions

¯ Honor Council Meetings are every Sunday at 5:00 in the Pendell Hill Room on the left side of the DC. All community members are invited to the non-confidential portion.

¯ All Honor Council members signed up to be on either the faculty outreach committee or the community outreach committee. Oleg volunteered to chair the faculty outreach committee, and Laura and Elif volunteered to chair the community outreach committee. The first issue that the faculty outreach committee will address is having a forum for hearing the faculty’s opinions of the Code. The community outreach committee will deal with getting the community more involved with the Code, possibly posting abstracts online, and continuing Lunt Time.

¯ Caitlin volunteered to maintain Honor Council’s website, and Liz volunteered to maintain Honor Council’s bulletin board in the Campus Center.

¯ Honor Council members were each assigned a new faculty member. They will orient these “faculty buddies” to the Honor Code.

¯ The Honor Council retreat will be the weekend of October 4^th.

¯ Discussion of Honor Council’s goals for the year:

· Create a stronger connection between Honor Council and JSAAPP.

· Discuss faculty’s relationship with the Code.

· Create better transitions from semester to semester and year to year so that all resolutions are completed.

· Talk more to faculty before and after trials.

· Revise Council’s handbooks.
